An Evening of Murder, with Storyteller Larry Hohm

Listen to well-crafted stories come alive! Larry Hohm tells stories with an edge — compelling works of fiction written by accomplished authors. These are not readings — the stories are told from memory with drama and passion. The evening will include stories by Bill Pronzini, Ruth Rendell, Jack Ritchie, and Jennifer Gifford.
Larry Hohm has been telling stories for over ten years. He performs frequently at venues around Seattle, including open mic events, festivals, libraries, small theaters, and private clubs. He specializes in literary stories written by talented authors, mostly dark stories of mystery, crime, murder, and horror.

Free Seattle Summer outdoor concerts and dances

Downtown Seattle’s Out to Lunch (OTL) 2017 summer concert series is bigger than ever, with music every day of the week, and not just at lunch! This free, outdoor series brings live, lunchtime music to 12 downtown locations from July 5 to Sept. 1. All concerts take place from 12-1:30 p.m., except on Mondays, when you can find late afternoon entertainment to downtown venues from 4:30-6 p.m.

Free Summer outdoor dances

Tuesdays are in Westlake Park; Thursdays are in Freeway Park. The series culminates Aug 29 with the Valse Café Orchestra – Waltz and more for a Ball Blanc.
