A few hints for concert attendees using Konnectclub:
Please use the links on the SFS or artist webpages, SFS or artist Facebook event listings, or sent with the SFS concert notifications. These links allow you to purchase tickets without setting up a KonnectClub profile.
(If you already have a Konnectclub profile, the site will recognize you and save some steps. It is not necessary to have a profile in order to purchase a concert ticket, though!)
Remember that the virtual ticket and all communication about the concert will be coming from Konnectclub, not SFS directly (although Seattle Folklore Society may show as the sender name, the email will be from …email@example.com)
After you make your purchase, watch for the email with your ticket.
You will need the ticket code from your virtual ticket to view the concert unless you have a Konnectclub profile set up. The ticket is sent in a separate email. (If you lose the email with your code, contact us and we’ll look it up for you!)
Check to make sure your browser is supported. See Konnectclub’s guide “Joining a Live Streamed Virtual Event” Feel free to email the concert committee with questions about getting set up before the concert at firstname.lastname@example.org or through the Konnectclub bulletin board.
You will have the ability to view the concert for 24 hours with your ticket code. (up until 7pm the Sunday evening) You can even re-watch it if you want.
Konnectclub’s e-mail notifications: It has come to our attention that many follow-up emails are generated by Konnectclub. If you do not want to keep track of all discussion about a particular concert, or to be notified of future events, you can opt out. There should be a box to check or uncheck at the time of purchase. After the purchase, you can select “unsubscribe” at the bottom of emails you receive, if you choose. (If you have an account, go to your account settings, and uncheck any categories of email you want to discontinue.) SFS does not receive any contact information from Konnectclub, and can only reach ticketholders through their links. You can always contact us directly for any concerns, through email@example.com
