SFS is proud to present a free concert/dance with Whozyamama from 12 noon until 1pm at Alice Ball Park, 8102 Greenwood Ave N.
The Cajun music duo of Claudette Boudreaux on accordion and Tami Allen on fiddle will be joined by Linda Wilson on guitar. They bring the vibrant traditions of Louisiana to life with soulful French vocals and authentic melodies.
Together for over 30 years, Tami and Claudette are dedicated members of the Pacific Northwest’s Cajun music community. As former members of Les Femmes d’Enfer—the region’s first all-women Cajun band—they recorded two albums, played at venues across Seattle, and performed annually at the Northwest Folklife Festival. Since 2006, they’ve carried on this Cajun legacy as Whozyamama, performing lively sets for festivals, concerts, and dances across the PNW.
