Whiskey Deaf is a bluegrass band based in Portland & Seattle. Whiskey Deaf performs bluegrass, old-time and early country, mostly drawn from early pioneers in the music, and brings to the stage many years of professional experience and skill.

Their shows are always spontaneous, entertaining, and joyous, and feature exciting instrumental work and a unique repertoire of interesting songs and tunes.
This show features the quartet configuration with Annie Staninec, John Kael, Ethan Lawton and Forrest Marowitz. Annie’s stellar fiddling and joyful vocals take center stage as they have on tour with the likes of David Grisman, Kathy Kallick, and Rod Stewart. Hailing from Washington is Ethan Lawton on mandolin and many lead vocals. Award winning songwriter and multi-instrumentalist John Kael adds guitar, banjo and vocals. Forrest Marowitz rounds it all out with the bass.
