The Seattle Folklore Society (SFS) is pleased to welcome Chris Webster and Nina Gerber back to our stage.
As a duo, these two are pure magic. Chris Webster is a compelling singer who finds the emotional centre-point in a song while singing with power and passion. Long-time fans of Nina Gerber will remember her playing with Kate Wolf. Nina has also performed or recorded with the likes of Peter Rowan, Eliza Gilkyson, Nanci Griffith, Greg Brown, Lucy Kaplansky and Mollie O’Brien.
In recent years Chris and Nina have teamed up to release an album of duets called Apple Blossom Lane, featuring Chris’s bluesy, jazzy and soulful voice backed by Nina’s nuanced and evocative guitar playing.
